A couple of years ago, we could get away with not having great looking brows; but, oh boy, how those times have changed.

I started filling in my brows when I dyed my hair brown. I didn’t want my blond eyebrows to give away that I dye my hair. That was probably a year or two before the entire brow game hype started.

The funny thing is that I’m still no expert at it. Mainly because I keep changing my brow product. I started out using a pencil, but ended up not loving it. It felt like my brows looked too bold and unnatural. So, the search continued.

I’ve been reading great things about the brow products from Anastasia Beverly Hills. And whenever I asked someone what brand they use, they’d always say Anastasia Beverly Hills. I jumped on the bandwagon and got myself the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in the shade Chocolate. And I’m glad I did.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

It’s a creamy, waterproof brow color. You get this elegant glass jar with a bronze “A” on top. It may seem a bit on the small size considering the price that you pay for it, but a little goes a long way. Really, you only need a little product to make your brows look good. Apply the product with light strokes and you’ll get natural looking brows (it may take some time to figure out the right amount).

Get your angled brush and start shaping.

If you’re starting out or you want your brows to look natural, I’d advise to start shaping your brows from the bottom up. Line the bottom curve of your brows using Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and blend it out towards the top with a spoolie.

If you want to have bold looking brows, try drawing a line at the top and bottom and then fill it in. Some people also like to define their brows by applying concealer tightly underneath their brows. You can also apply a bit of highlighter underneath the arch to make your brows pop.

Play around, see what suits you best.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade comes in 9 different shades. I think it’s a great product. Love the cream, love the color, and it will definitely last for quite a while before I’ll have to purchase it again. Once you get the hang of it, you can create natural looking brows or some seriously strong eyebrow game.
