Things to Look Forward to

When I was still in high school I had this tendency to spend my entire summer behind my computer playing Sims. I still love and play the game, but not as often as I used to.

This summer I had a plan: I would do as many new things as possible. So far, I’ve already been on the new roller coaster The Baron (while I’m afraid of heights), I had my first indoor trampoline park experience at Jumpsquare, I visited the Dutch navy with my aunt who was a marine and I traveled to Groningen; a city way up north that is simply too far away for any practical purposes (or at least, that is the stereotype).… Read the rest

For the past few weeks I’ve only heard people talk about Jumpsquare: a 2000 m2 indoor trampoline park that recently opened in Nieuwegein (Utrecht). Apparently, 2000 m2 is huge since every newspaper headline goes like this: “JUMPSQUARE: THE BIGGEST INDOOR TRAMPOLINE PARK IN THE EU.”

OK, Wait. Trampoline park? That’s not only for kids?

I’m in.

CROP is a cool green-food-café in Utrecht that serves fresh and healthy food. One of my friends told me about this place so we decided to check it out.

Can you tell that I’m in a bit of a cupcake mood?! Last week I discovered a cute little bakery that sells cupcakes and in the same week I found an entire shop dedicated to cupcakes! Yeah I’m just a teeny bit behind on posting. Sue me!

It’s called A Cup of Cake and is located in Breda. The last time I’ve been in Breda I already added the Chocolate Company Café and Latte’s and Literature to my hot spots list, and A Cup of Cake definitely deserves a spot on this list as well!… Read the rest
